Kobe

Kobe is an important port city with 1.4 million people. Although smaller than neighboring Osaka, it is the largest container port in the entire region. Kobe suffered a massive earthquake several years ago that caused millions of dollars in
damage and took several thousand lives. But the city is largely rebuilt and has taken
steps to make repaired and new buildings more resistant to quakes.
Kobe is considered a very cosmopolitan city with people from many countries both living and visiting there. There are many foreign restaurants and there is a large
Chinatown.

This Indoor Skate rink ... like all of Osaka's skate rinks DO NOT permit players to use the showers, even though they have them. They also don't let spectators sit in the seats, even though the building is a big, beautiful and has lots of seating. My family came to watch the game and they were ushered out of the seating areas. What is the matter with these people? After games we / I have to drive an hour home all sweaty and dirty. I always thought Japanese people were clean, but apparently not. Glad we are Canadian and have showers that can be used in Canada!
